I HAVE just come back from a wonderful experience. It affected me so that I had to get up and write it down.

I was allowed to serve, as I pray every day that I may learn to “work consciously, at all times and on all planes.” And I did work on the etherial plane last night near Jerusalem in full consciousness, helped a lovely soul to depart from her body, and came back home in a little more than an hour! This is what happened:

I returned home from a most inspiring group meeting (I saw white roses falling down on the group, symbolizing the spiritual blessings received) and went to bed. There was a voice in the house downstairs that kept me awake, and I was getting annoyed,—but I remembered, and I visualized the people downstairs bathed in the Light of God’s Love. Instantly the voice stopped. But I just couldn’t go to sleep. Finally, about three o’clock I dozed off, and suddenly I heard a voice giving me directions to go at once to near Jerusalem to rescue a soul.

I heard the voice seemingly coming from an empty chair near my bed. This made me wake up and look at the chair. But I saw nothing. Then someone helped me to leave my body and I passed out through the closed window. I saw strange scenery and I wondered where I was (I let my thoughts run wild), and instantly I was back in my body again.

I was wide awake now, and I felt sorry I had spoiled it all. So I prayed earnestly, “Dear Father, let me be worthy to serve Thee efficiently.” At once I left my body again—just rose out of it so easily, no one helping me this time.
