many psychic experiences—and since she is free of the flesh we are much together. At first she came to me by a solar plexus “shiver;” now she just gets in my consciousness.

“It has been interesting to me to know that she “hovers” or “over­shadows” this new instrument, and that she has power to stimulate “memory.” I would like to know much about this; but, as I get it from her, she is not “entered in” during gestation, but she has power over it. Also after her birth she will be able to come to me as now—while the babe sleeps. “Always in this life I have been subject to that ‘shiver’ in the solar plexus, and it always means a touch or contact with the psychic world.”

THIS experience is indicative of two things: (1) The possibility of one after so-called “death” not going on into devachan, the heaven world; this, because being psychic and thereby aware of the inner life, and undoubtedly having learned before passing many of the truths of being and profited by them, she had digested and assimilated these truths sufficiently while here so that it was not necessary to go into the heaven world for them to grow and unfold in consciousness, as with most.

(2) Because of the desire to return and help her daughter and also to further her own soul development, she was permitted to return this soon, as usually several hundred years elapse before one is ready to return. Perhaps also she is a real server—and old soul, who wishes to be here and take her part in the world changes now taking place and needing every possible awakened and conscious worker to help bring the New Order into expression.

Under such circumstances what is described could be wholly possible. The fact that she intends to “stimulate memory,” which means to make her instrument, the child, remember as early as may be “who it is,” why it is here and what part it has to prepare for in the future, is intensely interesting. Likewise such a memory would perhaps include the experiences of past lives, as well as all knowledge gained from such experiences.—The EDITOR.
