THERE is great need everywhere for material help these days. But the real need is for Spiritual help.

What material help one can give at this time lasts only a few days and those helped are soon back again in the same darkness and poverty of spirit in which they were found. Can you not see that it is the Spiritual helpers who are doing the greatest and most far-reaching work these days?

But people overlook that, even those who are seeking Truth—yet seek teachings that will help them to improve material conditions, keeping their thoughts more upon what they will gain materially than upon the need of their souls for the true Bread of Life.

It therefore behoves all students in these “last days,” when so many are looking for the “Second Coming of Christ,” and are preparing themselves to be worthy to meet Him when He comes—which may be very soon, to face themselves squarely and to learn if they are truly seeking first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness; or if they are still longing for the material blessings of the outer world, making them first.

There are plenty of teachings available for improving the mind, body and one’s outer affairs; but very few that feed the soul—that point the true way to Christ and His Kingdom here on earth. What are you most needing—more teaching for the mind, when you are not able to use one hundredth part of the mental knowledge you already have? Or are you needing Spiritual Understanding that will enable you to apply the Truth and live in the Kingdom right here?

In the Impersonal Teachings the surest and most effective way is shown to find Him, so that He will be not only a Living Presence in your life, but so you can go to Him and receive whatever guidance and help you need.

You will learn in the near future that until this Spiritual need is supplied, conditions will just continue to grow darker and darker in your outer life.
