The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | JULY 1934

Now just a word in regard to what clouds your mind and clouds the minds of every member of a prospective Group; you are asking whether all this is possible in the present generation.

Hear me. Those in search of an undifferentiated medium must go within, through mineral, liquid, gaseous, and mental substances, and must find the Eternal and Unchangeable. Not a Past, not a Future, but a NOW. When the Eternal is reached, only the NOW is. Your Past becomes a PRESENT concept, your Future is a Present concept; only the NOW remains. Those who still dwell in the fetters of time and space have no part with me. Cast off bondage, step into the eternal NOW and HERE, and you will find the Medium with you.

(We feel that the following words could well be added at this point in order more fully to explain and amplify what has just been stated.—The EDITOR.)

You have learned what Money is—that it merely represents loving selfless service, from which no return is expected or even thought of.

Only those who are capable of giving such service can understand what is meant by “going within into the Eternal and Unchangeable.” Such are those who not only have learned to love, but who to a great extent have become Love.

When one has grown or unfolded (for it is an unfolding into a new consciousness where the sense of separation largely disappears and the Oneness of all becomes a positive realization) into the Love Consciousness, and thereby is enabled to see through the eyes of Love, to hear with the ears of Love, and to know with the understanding of Love—just that kind of Love that Christ had; then one leaves behind all concern about the past or the future and sees and knows only the ever-present beauty, goodness and perfection of all things and all men.

He who is able to enter such Consciousness becomes One with All—is now conscious only of the Whole, and that all the beauty, goodness and perfection of the Whole is his eternally. He no longer sees separated parts, or rather he looks right through what appears and sees only the Real—the Whole, that
