THE DIVINE IMAGE
THE IMPERSONAL WORK as a whole is based on the consciousness of the Divine Image, or Son of God, living His life in and through man and in man’s endeavor to train his human instrument—the mind—to cooperate in bringing forth into outer manifestation God’s Will on earth as it is in Heaven.
Man being a threefold being, therefore there are three different and distinct phases of God’s Consciousness within man, and in the life, thought and action of every man these phases show up, and classify him, revealing in which phase he is living.
The first phase of this consciousness is found in the class of human souls who have become Disciples of the Divine Image as revealed by Very God Himself from within. These dear ones KNOW their God and wait upon, love and worship Him within their hearts and always seek to do only His Will as He from within shows to them the Way, the Truth and the Life. Thus by waiting upon and abiding in Him the Disciple enters into the Kingdom Consciousness and finds his place there and knows of what he is a part.
The second phase of this consciousness is found in the class of human souls who are aspiring to become Disciples, but whose human minds are not yet prepared to grasp and retain the Impression of the Divine Image from within, therefore they see Him not as He really is. These are Aspirants and they will soon know Him because of their earnest aspiration and faith in Him. For that urge that causes faith and earnestness is the very consciousness of the Divine Image pushing itself forth and preparing the way that He may come forth and be to the Aspirant what He is already to the Disciple.
The human mind of the Aspirant is a wonderful artist and has gathered from Science, Philosophy and Religion, as well as from life itself, the material from which to mold a mental image of God or Christ. He has painted within his consciousness a beautiful picture of God, of Christ, and of their Kingdom. It is natural, is it not, that the Aspirant’s God should seem to be outside or above him, because of the fact that the material used in molding the image has apparently come from elsewhere? But let us remember that it was Very God Himself, through the Divine Image within the Soul, that caused man to choose the material from without, with which to paint that image or picture, so to prepare the human mind to welcome the entrance of the Actual and Divine Image of Himself.
The third phase of this consciousness is found in the class of human souls who have not yet tasted of the fruits of the Spirit, therefore, who have no aspirations as yet toward Christhood. In other words, the Seed of God within them has not developed them to the place where the petals of their Soul have begun to unfold to the Light of God.
It is the first two phases of consciousness that I want to stress, for it is only through the pure and Holy consciousness of God stepped down in vibration through these two, that the third phase of consciousness can be lifted up and the souls of those living in the third phase begin to aspire toward God and Christ.

THE ARMOR OF ST. PATRICK
“I SECURE myself this day to the Almighty Christ of God. I establish myself this day in: The Power of God to uphold me, The Wisdom of God to instruct me, The Peace of God to enfold me, The Love of God to govern me, The Word of God to speak for me, The Way of God to lie before me, The Hand of God to lead me, The Eye of God to watch over me, The Ear of God to hear me, The Shield of God to protect me, The Riches of God to supply me. Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ above me, Christ beneath me, Christ at my right, Christ at my left, Christ in length, in breadth, in height, Christ in the heart of every man who speaks to me, Christ in the eye of every man who sees me, Christ in the ear of every man who hears me, I secure myself this day to the Almighty Christ of God.”
