The principles of competition, profit-making and money are the very opposite of Christ’s principles and teachings, and can have no part in the life He wishes us to live. Man has tried to mix His principles with those of the old Order, the creations of the enemy, and has failed utterly to get more than temporary results—it has only served to hasten the collapse of the old Order.

Think you man, up to the present time, has learned his lesson, or that any change for the better can come until he does learn it—learn the futility of trying to bolster up and continue the methods of the old system of selfishness and greed?

Man with great ingenuity, after ages of servile toil, has finally created for himself the possibility of leisure, by harnessing all the forces of nature and compelling them to work for and supply his needs.

Most men are in business only because they were forced into it by the necessity of earning a living and of gaining the needed comforts of life. More than a majority have secret longings for the time when they can devote their energies to the improvement of their minds and to constructive and worth-while things. When they are no longer driven by the need of or desire for money, and are free to utilize their mental powers in serving the race, can you imagine the future possibilities awaiting mankind?

Likewise when man is fully convinced that the old Order must go, and he no longer seeks by the old methods to win his way to freedom, but turns within to God, realizing that He surely must have new and far better ways prepared and waiting—when humanity has learned
