THE GOVERNMENT OF THE WORLD
Every thinking mind seeking the reasons for what is occurring in the world today—or for what occurred in any period of the world’s history, is bound to arrive at the realization that there must be definite supervision and a certain amount of guidance of humanity from the inner realms of being.
Of course, all ordinary religious minds attribute such guidance to God or Deity, but usually only in a hazy way; without thinking that there must be a great, wonderful and perfect organization operating under the direction of an all-wise, all-loving and all-powerful Intelligence.
The average mind, however, even that of many Truth students, gives no consideration to that subject, being content to leave it all to God. In fact, they fear to venture even in speculation into realms beyond the veil separating the visible and the invisible departments of life, thinking no one but God knows anything about the life that lies on the other side of what is called death.
That attitude of mind, of course, is not that of real students and thinkers, and many these days are having such conclusive evidence of there being human life in the unseen world, and are seeking everywhere for confirmation and explanation of what they have experienced, that many books on the subject have been written and are now available, and many students are turning their attention in that direction.
What we would say we address to such, and seek to appeal to their reason only. For we want to divest this subject of all the opprobrium cast on it by those who have refused to investigate it, claiming it is impossible to know
