systems in turn revolve around a central sun of mighty magnitude, forming a universe. And we are told that in the dark expanse of the heavens, so far away that only the most powerful telescopes can detect them, are countless numbers of other similar universes.

We also know that all of these celestial organisms operate with perfect precision and in perfect harmony one with another, and naturally according to a perfect Plan that must have been conceived, put into operation and sustained by nothing less than Divine Mind.

But if we cannot fully grasp the operation of such a vast organism, then we point to the human body and to the wonderful precision and harmony in which its different organs work one with another to express the life and intelligence animating it. Can we attribute this life and intelligence to the individual mind inhabiting the body; did it conceive, plan and create its body? No, we know that it in turn with all other bodies of men form the greater organism of the body of humanity; and if we can only see it, every one of its units must work in perfect precision and harmony in order to bring about the growth and development planned for that body.

But you say, what humanity is now expressing is far from the expression of harmony. How do you know? What do you know about the laws that operate to cause growth and to express harmony?

One thing it is necessary always to remember, man’s body is but a cell in the body of humanity, and all that is considered by Divine Mind is the harmonious development of the whole; and what happens to an individual cell is but the operation of the forces of life regulating the individual life to the harmony of the whole.
