receive them, and ye shall have them.” So that I have only to believe that God is changing her according to my thoughts and prayer and she will be so.

In this connection, the Inner Voice said to me one day, “You must get out of your mind the idea that your servants are dishonest.” I have tried to obey that command, with the result that my girl is becoming honest and trustworthy; it is some months now since anything is missing, and in every other respect she is a wonderful help and blessing.

I am enclosing also an account of a vision. It needs no interpretation, but is so comprehensive in its teaching that you may think it helpful to others and worthy of a place in your magazine.

I SAW a sloping hillside rising out of a deep gulch. On the right the hill sloped more steeply to the gulch and ended in a precipitous cliff; while on towards the left was a steep ascent like a broad road leading out of the gulch to the hillside. Up this broad road millions of people—really humanity—were slowly moving. As they ascended the hillside, above and beyond the precipitous cliff a white path appeared before them, bearing to the right at an angle of forty-five degrees, away from the broad road traversed by the millions.

Some distance up the hill to the left of the white path and above it, and directly in front of humanity as it moved on out of the gulch, was a glorious bright light in the form of a Star, which shed its radiance around and more especially directly underneath it, where the brilliance was so great as almost to preclude one’s looking at it.
