IN THIS Department will be included teachings and truths for more advanced students, especially for those who have received the monthly lessons in the sixty-five issued Papers.

Some of our readers perhaps may not be able to grasp these truths, but we urge if so that they reserve them for future study and consideration, as they will contain matter of vital moment to the soul, when it is grown ready to receive and use it as intended.

WE HAVE made plain the goal and true part of all consecrated disciples or Inner Workers—serving consciously the Christ Within, actually working in His Consciousness, the outer man obeying as naturally and easily as the hand obeys the will.

We have shown in earlier issues how all Inner Workers in order to accomplish anything must work from their soul consciousness; that no one can reach and deal with another soul except he be in his inner or soul consciousness.

We will now explain this so all can see how simple is such work and just what it means and what is accomplished when you talk to or work with another soul.

In the light of the teaching that all is One Consciousness and that you are a center of awareness in It; that therefore your consciousness is That Consciousness, or is everything in It of which you are conscious,—then every thing or person you know must be but a thought or creation in your consciousness and consequently is not separate from you but exists as a part of your consciousness. This being so, then when you think of another person, you must immediately contact the soul of that person, because his soul is the real man, who is also a center of awareness in the One Consciousness, your thought of him being only what your mind believes he is. Therefore, his soul, being such a center of awareness and you being another center (both being like two thoughts in your consciousness), you cannot think of him without his soul being aware of you through the effect in consciousness of your thought of him.

In other words, you cannot think of another person, but his soul immediately presents itself before you in your consciousness, which is the One and Only Consciousness. Think this over carefully and stay with it until you see how it must be so, and the great significance it holds for you.

When you have reasoned it out thoroughly in your mind so that it sets it clearly, then with a little practice you can actually call before your mind’s eye the soul of another and can see it, by merely calling his name and thinking of him; for a clear thought of him is his soul standing right before you in your mind or mental world, which is as much a real world than the physical. Do not try to see his personality or what appears in the outer. Just think of him.

Now we wish you to try to realize just what you have been doing. As a center of awareness—as a soul—you have been presenting to your mind (your outer self) a great truth, and have been requiring it to do what you wanted it to do. In other words, you have been back in your soul consciousness doing practical inner soul work. This becomes conscious inner work when you consciously know that you as a soul are doing it. This conscious knowing will actually increase the effectiveness of your work tenfold. See if you can get it?

Inner Work then is the work you do, positively knowing that “Whatever you think, believing it is so will outmanifest itself.”

In these two lines is contained one of the greatest of secrets. For when your mind fully realizes that all things exist only in your consciousness and whatever is manifesting is what you believe is so, then all you need to do to change existing things and conditions is to think instead what you want to manifest, and convince your mind it is so, and the law will bring it to pass.

Your part then is in seeing it clearly in your mind as you want it to be, and then knowing it is already manifesting in reality, concerned not at all about what appears outwardly, and a seeming “miracle” will happen. But it is not a miracle, it is only the outworking of the law—and it is just as sure in its operation as is the operation of any other law.

Do you want to heal another? Deny the appearance, whatever it is, saying, “That has no part in God’s Consciousness which knows only Goodness and Perfection; therefore it can have no part in my consciousness or life, nor in the consciousness and life of that other.” Say this and whatever else is needed to convince your mind of its truth, and the truth will make you free of this error, and likewise that other will be free. For he is as free as God sees and knows him, and the error is only a belief you have allowed to come into your mind. Put it entirely out of your mind, and you will find it will no longer be.

Do you want to help another in some difficulty—no matter what it is? Then do exactly the same as above, speaking what ever truth in addition that will convince and free your mind of any doubt or error-belief in appearances, and the help will be felt instantly.

Do you want to help to free the community or city from undesirable conditions, such as violence or injustice on the part of strikers or others during strikes, or in mass gatherings called by leaders who would incite to unjust or unrighteous acts, acts which would not be for the benefit or well-being of all concerned?

Deny the appearance of whatever threatens, and say, “That has no part in God’s Consciousness, which knows and sees only justice, harmony and peace ever expressing; therefore, it can have no part in my consciousness nor life, nor in the consciousness and life of any of these people who are all God’s children.” Then to further convince and strengthen your mind, see our Lord Jesus Christ walking in a blaze of Glory along the picket lines of strikers or in the midst of any of their meetings; and note the immediate softening of the hearts of everyone present as He approaches, causing them to change their minds and forego any wrong acts intended and to leave quietly for their homes.

Yes, dear friends, if everyone who reads these words will make it his or her duty to do just what we have suggested and as led of the Spirit, when reading or learning of such contemplated wrong-doing, they will find that back of them is a Power for Righteousness that will work through them and will accomplish very remarkable results. All that is needed are willing and selfless channels open to such use, and the Brotherhood of Christ will prove to you the Power that will manifest and bring about righteousness and justice where selfishness and injustice were formerly manifesting.

This is real work offered to every earnest soul seeking to become an Inner Worker. There is no more effective work that can be done these days. Study these words well and if you wish to serve, ask your loving Father to take you and use you in such service, showing you just what to do, and then faithfully obey, concerned not at all about results, leaving them all in His hands.

In order to do this most effectively, call two or three of your friends who would be willing to meet with you daily at a certain hour to perform such service. Meet either together in the flesh or in the Spirit; but in any event when working with others or singly, dedicate yourself to Christ, God’s Holy Spirit in you, and let Him direct you in all that you do.

IN ANSWER to prayer for light regarding the WHY of a manifestation of misunderstanding between myself and a very dear friend.

BE STILL, My child, and know that I AM not responsible for any woe that the human self brings upon itself. I AM not disturbed by what anyone says or does. All that is of the personality, and has no part in Me.

Remember, the only word Jesus had for those who intentionally tormented Him (or tried to torment Him) was, “Forgive them, Father, they know not what they do.” If you would be His disciple, you must do as He did—walk in poise, steadily on your way, unconcerned by what others say or think, which has no power to wound, or hinder, or in any way affect the Christ of you.

When the Christ or Real Self is in charge, He no longer lets His personality, and its foolish human pride, be affected by human opinion or spoken words.

This personality which you have fostered so long, which you have catered to and cherished, MUST GO! Every whack at it, every wound it receives, is a blessing, as much so as when a tree has to fall, every chip that is hewed out brings fulfillment—the falling of the tree.

Therefore, every wound your personality receives you should be thankful for, knowing that it is one more chip “off your shoulder,” or out of the tree that must fall—your tree of personality, false pride, the phantom of the Real You which must vanish as the mist of the morning, in order that I AM, your True Self, may shine forth and be the Only You.

All men are instruments of God, and if He sees fit to use you in the pruning, purging, or chopping down the tree of another’s human personality, you must be equally poised, humble, grateful even, that He has prepared you so you can be thus used, and can say with sincerity, “Thy will be done.”

DEAR Brother:

Your letter was received some days ago, but Louise could find no words to write to you.

She had been sitting quietly in a chair, and to convince her that I AM all that she is, she had been listening to the throb of her heartbeats. I explained to her that it would not beat had it not been My Will that it continue; that in this way I manifest My Life in her body to her. This is what I told her while she sat meditating on the first paragraph in your letter.

One of the hardest things she is trying to learn is that I AM all that she is. Early training, as she has told you on several occasions, has been clearly crystallized into a belief that it is sacrilegious for her to say or think that God lives in her body. But I AM giving her little glimpses of Me, when I can get her mind still enough to hear Me, and in time when all the mist of self is cleared away, she will know just Who and What I AM.

Then when she can see Me, and Me only, in her flesh, will her crucifixion be over in the flesh. She has been unable to sleep at night; there is a tenseness, a trembling of the hands and much swaying of the mind from one thing to another. There are also things in the outer that she wants to do, and I AM trying to convince her that there is time for everything—a necessary time for sleep and for the needs of the physical, but she must step aside and let Me do it for her.

She is trying hard—she tells Me that the self of her gets smaller and smaller all the time; that she feels Me looking out at her fearless as the Lion, showing her that there is nothing to fear; that in the past she did all that she accomplished, thinking that she did it, but knowing now that I was there all the time doing it. This one thing she has learned—that I really did it—not she, and she is now willing to let Me do all for her. But she still forgets sometimes, in her hurry and impatience. I have taught her, however, that in time, I WILL REVEAL MYSELF FULLY AS I AM. She can wait, even if she is impatient.

She realizes that she has a special work to do here; always it has been foremost in her mind—the Sun Medallion, THE SUN MEDAL-LION—Strength to hold fast to the fact that Right is Might.

I pour My Love through her and she knows that It is I. Her eyes dim with tears of joy that I AM here in her flesh—that I Alone AM—there is no other; that I AM ALL, and she is My Instrument. Always now she can feel Me thus, and she knows that she and I ARE One.

I explained to her that just as the airplane is driven in space with only the instrument board as a guide, so is she led—blindflying, it is called. Surely, with swiftness, they fly—by the aid of the instrument-board.

Now she can go forward with her plans, knowing that I AM doing it for her. Always she can have this assurance—always I AM here with her. There is only one way—THE IMPERSONAL WAY.

I ONCE heard a Truth Teacher say that God knows sin. From that moment to the end of his lecture, everything he said was severely questioned.

There are many this Day who have the God Consciousness in their own being, and can feel It in others. This Consciousness is the same in all such. There are not two kinds of God. There is only ONE. Ask any of these Anointed Ones and they will give you the same answer—“God knows no sin.”

Those of Wisdom understand there was once law—but now, GRACE!

Let those who have lifted up their minds to that true state where they are in the Kingdom, speak then from firsthand knowledge, “There is no sin of anything human, but only a knowledge of Perfection in the Kingdom of God.” And as long as one can keep one’s mind in that knowing one will see only perfection in everything and everybody.

When the consciousness is not strong enough to stay in this high vibration, the mind lets go and in that moment the consciousness is out of the Kingdom. But even from this transition from the Kingdom to the outer, there is something that brings comfort and strength to carry on. And it is this—the memory the mind has of the bliss of that condition, and a comparison of it with the outer.

I have often wondered how these Exalted Beings without human bodies, know mortal needs, or are even aware of such a state as this condition of sin and misery here on earth.

As They live and have Their Being in Perfection and can not be both perfect and imperfect; and as They can not lower Their Consciousness out of the Kingdom, then how do They aid Their lower expressions here on earth.

For months this was pondered; then I decided that These Heavenly Ones see something that is not white and radiant as are They Themselves. And as Their nature is LOVE—to see a thing is to love it. So They just naturally love this darkness which They see.

But the souls who have earthly bodies have a direct way or method of communication. First the cell body to the brain mind; then the brain mind to the soul; then the soul to the Christ; then the Christ to the Lord God; then the Lord God to the Absolute.

These states of consciousness are One and are a part of every soul, each state slowed down in vibration to meet the need of the next lower, until the human body is reached. But the Anointed Ones have now lifted, by self effort, all the lower up to or very near the Highest.

I know perfectly, without the slightest doubt, that my Lord wants me not to see, hear, nor think evil. My visions—those lessons from my soul—are without sin, being (with a few minor exceptions) devoid of any expressions of suffering. The changes on earth have been wrought in sublime grandeur, and with no cataclysms. So far as this one has seen, no one is left out of Eden. The earth turns over in perfect harmony. This is just as my Lord wants it to be, and His is the only voice for this one.

In visions I see and talk to and know souls without sin. They are perfect in every way. And not one—not one, accuses or knows that his or her human self is sinful. They love their human selves.

Oh, I never cease to wonder over the splendor of these LATTER DAY SAINTS. —Nancy.

THE PRAYER of My servant is precious unto Me. Every hour do I receive it. But of a peculiar sweetness is the prayer of one that seeks Me and falters on the way. For him I wait, and over him I watch all the night, until the morning break, and the shadows are fled.

Covet not secret powers. Labor not for them. They are My care. In My own time I cause them to spring forth from the ground I have prepared. They shall become as a fair tree. He that diggeth for himself, let him beware, lest he disturb a seed of My planting. A seed disturbed maketh a crooked tree!

O son of man! I laid a veil upon My Face, that thou thyself mightest withdraw it; yea, that in thine own desire thou mightest discover Me. How else couldst thou attain to look upon Me and be satisfied? Thus have I ordered it from the beginning, that none should cease from seeking; for to the lover only am I revealed.
