The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | DECEMBER 1935

through Them—ME, AMEN, SO BE IT. AMEN, AMEN.

Let no event of life trouble thee; record thy name in no confusion. Let thy qualifications in Me permeate thoroughly thy Soul in Divine Love and Mastership with Freedom, for in Love of Me is Bondage. It is beautiful, it is satisfactory, it is unto an immeasurable extent. AMEN, AMEN, AMEN, AMEN. SO BE IT. AMEN.

I go to prepare a place for you, so again will I come unto you and receive you unto My Self, that where I am there ye too might be in everlasting life. Let the Elect know, My Candidates are among you. AMEN, SO BE IT. AMEN, AMEN, AMEN.

This thru the Christ Plane, thru Epinetti and Micha, AMEN, AMEN, AMEN.

WHO—WHAT AM I?

A quotation from THE LAST FULL MEASURE, page 269,
(a chapter in the life-experience of A. Lincoln).

“SUPPOSE it were true. Suppose that this was the key to the scheme; a mighty, conscious, creative entity as all-pervasive as electricity, but possessed of every capacity men’s souls and minds possess; an entity which manifested itself through all forms of life. If so, why? to what end? Could it be that conscious force owed its own expression to the laws it had created; that having set in motion the machinery of the universe it must abide by its formulae of its own invention?

It looked, yes, by the eternal verities, it looked as if existence were a stupendously earnest game in which the Creator had set himself the task of bringing all life to vivid consciousness of its complete identity with Him. Personality depending on brain-folds which in turn depended on the original law.

But within that personality, be it slave-trader or Henry Ward Beecher, was the Creator Himself, however, hidden by the slaver’s lusts or manifested by Beecher’s poetic vision; within both, the struggle and the urge toward the Light, submerged in the slaver, all but visible in Beecher’s best moments.

And when, as the aeons rolled by, man became completely conscious that his soul and the Creator’s were one and the same—Lincoln covered his eyes with his hand, giddy, breathless.
