On the other hand there will be those who will find their love nature more and more taking charge and expressing itself, overlooking faults and weaknesses in others and wanting to help them as never before in their lives.

More than a few have written us speaking of this noticeable change in their natures manifesting since September 16th, and many of our readers well have noted this change, or will recognize it, now that it is called to their attention. In fact, in this release from ordinary restraint, during the next two years they will find themselves required to face and cope with all the forces of their lower natures still unredeemed, along with the conditions they bring about, and either they will have to master them, or they will be destroyed by them.

This necessarily will be so, for nothing of the lower nature can accompany them after making the righthand turn, which is why “evil will destroy itself” before reaching the turn. That is also why self and all evil tendencies must and will be destroyed during that time by every true disciple (they will destroy themselves by showing themselves, so that they can be taken in hand and mastered); which means that every quality of mind and soul born of selfishness and the sense of separation must disappear from the consciousness so that Divine Love alone will rule.

Try to realize just what that means. When selfishness and all sense of separation have disappeared from the consciousness, what has become of the human mind? There is no more human mind, for that mind was created out of a false sense and belief of being separate from the soul or inner self, whose consciousness alone is living in and expressing through the human body.

Do you see what this implies—that your human mind itself must disappear as a separate consciousness and must surrender and merge with the soul, your true consciousness? And when that takes place, your human body then becomes a wide open channel, no longer hindered by the mind’s wrong beliefs, through which the One Life can flow freely and can express fully the perfect pattern that was intended from the beginning.

In other words, you must learn to withdraw your consciousness from your mind and must see it for what it is—your instrument with which you work mentally, just as your hand is an instrument with which you work physically.
