Light and ask the Father to bless and show him the way, and give him some of my books to study. I know he will now walk in the Light.

AS I SAT in the Silence I seemed to be going along a path which led up a steep mountain-side. All at once, on the righthand side of the path, I saw an evergreen tree. I called it a balsam tree. The branches were broad and covered with white, fluffy snow. The thought came that this was a symbol and that I must write the message which came from it. So I sat at the desk and the words came, without any effort on my part.

“We have tried to lead you in many ways, and you have allowed other things to intervene. Now We are intending to lead you regardless.

“The tree you saw along the path was a symbol of long ago. It is the sign We show to those who are ready to come into their chosen mission—the mission which called them into this incarnation.

“We are constantly trying to help you, but evil forces are working also. Can you not close the door to these forces? Keep your thoughts upon the Eternal, as symbolized by the everlasting tree; be as pure in outer manifestation as the snow upon its branches, and as fragrant as the balsam boughs which give the odor of vigor, strength and health.

“You are in a small field compared to the one We have waiting for you. You are a channel for the Most High Power. Come, listen and receive.

“The world is on the verge of a new cycle. Yea, the world is now in this cycle of Eternal Power, which is for the good of mankind. A change is at hand which will lead to the awakening of man’s Inner Powers and to the use and adjustment of these Powers to everyday life.

“We are in need of all those who came into this world to be of service, and We call them to come forth now to do that thing for which they were chosen and which they chose to do. Your part is to inform others. Allow others to know your power, and let it come forth.
