Truth expressed above, can broadcast it to darkened minds, exactly as one turns a powerful Beacon Light to a dark section of the city, and everything there can be plainly seen; the Light of Truth thus directed will quicken the souls of men who feel it so that they will awaken from their dream of self and realize the wrongs that they were planning and become ashamed.

These are not mere words, but are actual facts which can be proven by any Inner Worker who has had the experience of seeing the effect of “Knowing the Truth” and of “Speaking the Word” for those they have helped. The incidents that follow this article show this. It is only a matter of convincing your mind of these Truths by clearly stating them, as did the friend in the article on page 46 of the December ’35 issue, when she caused the two negro boys to stop fighting each other.

Another perfect illustration of what a powerful, trained mind can do is found in the wellknown trick of fakirs, mentioned in an earlier issue, who before large audiences throw a rope into the air where it hangs suspended from nothing, after which a little boy assistant climbs up the rope and disappears out of sight.

The explanation is that these fakirs had so trained their minds by long practice that they could go through this whole experience perfectly in their consciousness—see it so vividly in their minds, that the intensity and power of their seeing it broadcasted itself to every other mind witnessing the trick.

This has been proven by photographic films taken of the incident, on which all that was shown was the fakir standing in a state of intense concentration, with the little boy sitting on his haunches beside him. No rope and no movements of the one fakir or boy were in evidence on the film.

Remember, there is only one mind, and all seemingly separate minds are but channels of expression of what is broadcasted in mind. Conscious broadcasting always finds receiving minds. The minds of the people in the audience were all fixed on the fakir, thus more or less uniting their consciousness with his. Knowing this the fakir merely broadcasted to their minds the scene he wanted them to see.
