The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | OCTOBER 1935

How may one know such? By the work they are doing; by the Christ Light they are radiating, and the many souls they are bringing into His fold. They are the Servers of the race, and are those who always come when a new order is ushered in, and when a higher vision is given to humanity.

You may know them by their ability to speak from an inner and higher consciousness, and with the authority of one who knows; but more by the Love they vibrate and that shines out of their eyes and sounds in their voices, when speaking to their loved disciples.

Are there many of such in the world today? More than most think, for comparatively few are able to recognize them. Because they usually hide themselves in ordinary personalities and in inconspicuous places and vocations while doing their work, and thus seem to be anything but what they are. But always there is that about them that declares itself to those who are spiritually unfolded.

Soon many more will recognize them, because the spiritual eyes of those they are helping are becoming opened, and in the near future the veil between the seen and unseen for them will be lifted, due to the near approach of the Great Hosts of Light Who are preparing all possible for His Coming.

Then all real Workers will be brought into conscious intimate relation with the Workers in Spirit and will perfectly cooperate with Them in doing the Father’s Will on earth even as in Heaven.

In other words, the inner and the outer will work as One, for the outer consciousness of all earth Inner Workers will have withdrawn inward and united with that of their souls, and henceforth the two consciousnesses will be one, working always from within, instead of as formerly most of the time without.

WHAT WORKERS ARE DOING

WE HAVE both been serving since we received the July Magazine, and have seen some very wonderful things happen. My husband is a stationary engineer and his foreman where he works was getting to talk so terribly cross to him that the husband kept telling me he didn’t think he could stand it any longer.
