ANSWERING your question, when you direct the Light of Divine Love to anyone you would help, knowing that that Light penetrates the darkness of the human mind and reaches the God within that person and thus frees the soul from the ignorance and wrong understanding that is holding that person to the inharmony and lack manifesting, you are working with the Law of God, expressed by Jesus when he said, “Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free.”

All that is less than God exists only in man’s mind, and if you see anything as less than perfect, it means that you see it in your outer mind; but it is not in the mind of God within you. Therefore if you erase that wrong picture from your outer mind and replace it with the Truth that is in God’s mind, the manifestation must change accordingly.

WE NOTE what you say about your husband. Refuse to see anything but God in Him. First convince your mind that God, Who is All in all, is therefore all that your husband is—despite what he says or does, what the world thinks, or whatever appears. See God only, for God is All that he is. It is His Life, His Consciousness, His Nature in him and none other! Whenever a contrary thought enters the mind, say always, “No, God alone is His Life, your Intelligence, your Nature. All else is not!” Hold to this truth and say it many times a day, and as surely as you do, and know it, you will see a most wonderful change in your husband as well as in your own consciousness. See God only in every personality, every condition; and in time it must outmanifest. For it is the Truth and this Truth will always make you free.

ALL THESE things that seem to be such terrible trials really take place only in your consciousness; it is your reaction to them that causes them to seem so hard. The time will come when no matter what happens you will not be affected in any way, but will be calm inside in a simple, childlike knowing that God in charge of everything.

Would you not like to come to that state of mind? It is your emotional nature that is holding you back from it, and you must learn therefore to master all of those thoughts stirred up by the negative feelings that come, and say to them: “No, my Father will take care of all that.” Say it positively and mean it and you will find that what seems so hard and terrifying will be dispelled like shadows before the Sun.
