CONTAINING quotations from our replies to those writing us for help in their Spiritual problems. Each day at 12 o’clock noon, we take the names of those asking for such help in the Silence of the Spirit, and “Speak the Word” for them. DO YOU realize these truths that have been given you by your Higher Self and the difficulties that you are now facing are but part of the same thing? When one reaches the stage in one’s spiritual growth where one is earnestly seeking not only the way out, but is wanting to please one’s Loving Father, the way is always shown, but in order that one may walk in that way, opportunities for proving one’s ability to use the truth are likewise given.

The fault, if it can be called a fault, is yours, that is, you are unable as yet to see just how to apply these truths in your problem; but in your seeking, searching, and failing, in time, if you persist, the way will be shown you how to apply what you are being taught. And out of it will grow a deeper understanding that will enable you, not only to help yourself in the future, but many others who will be brought to you for help.

Therefore think carefully over what we have said and go back to the truths in the lessons, taking one truth at a time, staying and living with it until you can apply it in your daily life, before going on to the next. In this way only will you be able to free yourself from the hard conditions now facing you. We are seeing you accomplish just this, and are holding you in the Silence of our Noonday Chalice for the Spiritual help you need.

THE law, “Like attracts like” applies on both the mental and the physical planes, for it fully agrees with the law so plainly stated in THE WAY OUT—“Whatever one thinks and believes is so, outmanifests in one’s life and affairs.” The part which puzzles you—that the positive attracts the negative—seeming to be a contradiction to the above law, is really a confirmation of it; for whatever is conceived on the inner must come forth in the outer; therefore when the positive attracts the negative, or a vacuum attracts air, or male attracts female, it is but the same law in operation—two opposites being a part of the same thing they rush to unite and complete each other. In other words, the inner of them is complete now and is drawing together the two parts in the outer that will bring about its true manifestation in the without.

So you see that you really answered your own question before you got through. All negative appearances are untrue, therefore the truth in the inner is ever seeking to remove appearances that are opposite to it—the like in the inner attracts the unlike in the outer to make it one with itself; which is but illustrating your point that “our emptiness attracts God’s Fullness.”

BY LETTING go and trusting it all to the Father, you are doing the only way that will bring peace, harmony, and happiness back into your life. And just as surely as you do that selflessly and without concern about results, you will find all three of these blessings will follow.

Of course, self is going to fight hard and in subtle and indirect every opportunity you give it, but you are here to master self and take from it all of its forces and use them instead in the Master’s Service. Your compensation is the understanding existing between you that you have won your self which should be a strengthening power to assure you that you can win out over self until there is nothing left over that can be hurt. Would you not like to become as he, never disturbed over anything? Well, it can be so and it will be so when self gets wholly out of the way.

WE READ of the cross that you have been carrying for twenty years, and we wonder if we can help you by showing you that this cross is really a blessing in disguise, for has it not turned you to God as nothing else has? And has it not enabled you to find Him, to be taught by Him many things that otherwise you could not have learned? And above all has it not enabled you to sit at the feet of the Blessed One, to meet with Him, be taught by Him and receive His blessings, as you have told us.

This being so, would you exchange your cross for the peace and harmony that the human of you so much has longed for? Then can you not see that it is a blessing and not a cross?

IT IS good that you are able to get before-hand the key truth in each Center, that proves that you are in close tune with the Inner Sun Center, the Spiritual Consciousness from which these truths are given out. Think what that means! The outer parts of us are but channels or instruments for expression. The inner or real of us abides in that Consciousness and works from there, and just to the extent that we bring our human minds to respond to its there, are they able to work with or for us in the outer. That is all that they were sent forth into outer expression to accomplish—that which we planned in Spirit.

IN your problem of physical hearing, truly place this in the hands of your Loving Father within, your Real Self, and know that even as He is perfect He wants you, His instrument of expression, to have perfect hearing, and intends that you shall have it. Therefore be unconcerned about that—and only that you are hearing His loving Voice whenever He speaks, and all else will be taken care of. Your perfect hearing will surely come back to you, if you have a perfect love and trust in Him—refusing any longer to hold that picture of imperfection in hearing you have allowed to grow in your mind and become so dominant there.
