sends forth a prayer or does what is possible under the circumstances, even as did you in your dream.

I HAD a vision, I call it a parable. Every time I ask a question in the Silence it sounds like some one reply says, “It’s like this,” and then comes the answer in exact words just as if some one was talking; and it seems so rare that I feel that only Christ Jesus could give such words. As I write, though, the thought comes that there is only the One, and it is always His Voice we hear.

The parable or vision was thus. As I prayed the Father to empty my human vessel and cleanse it to be used only in His service, I saw great hosts carrying vessels both great and small to Solomon’s Temple, and I said, “Lord, I’ll be just one of the smallest vessels,” for they looked very insignificant, all carried in a tray. And the voice came back with these words, “The most precious ointment will be in the small vessels, and you will have to be prepared to be filled.”

We rejoice with you that you are able to get your own answers and inner directions so clearly. Your vision is most inspiring and was a blessed evidence of where you have arrived in your Spiritual unfoldment. We are very glad and praise our Loving Father that another dear one has come so truly into His Service.

FOR MANY years I have had a recurring dream, beginning with the first difficult efforts at learning how to raise myself from the ground. Effort after effort I progressed, through different stages of control, until the last time I had the dream I have been absolutely free, starting off when and where I pleased, without the least effort. Once I carried a little child in my arms. Once I was helping someone else to learn to fly.

Your dream was symbolic of your efforts to free yourself from material nature and your love of material things, and proves that you are now making first in your heart and life the seeking of Spiritual things. The little child you carried in your arms and your helping others also to rise and fly, is a further evidence that you are trying to live in your higher nature. We are glad, dear friend, to note these signs of your spiritual growth.
