I HAD a dream last Sunday that I was going blind, that everything was getting darker and darker; and when it seemed as though I was just about to become totally blind, I awoke.

Regarding your dream, try to do just what we shall now say.

First, above all things you must put out of your mind that picture of going blind, for that is a lie, as it has no part in God’s Consciousness and is not His purpose for you. The proof of it is that there is no part of your body or nature that is less than all good, all harmonious and all perfect, because it is God’s life that is in your body living and growing you, and not yours.

For is not God All in all? Then He must be all that you are. Therefore, it being His life, His consciousness, His nature in you, can there be any imperfection or any blindness, or any such thing possible for you?

If you will only know this, by thus reasoning it out to such logical and inescapable conclusion, you will see how foolish it is to allow such a thought to find lodgement in your mind.

What that dream probably means is that a condition may attempt to manifest in your life that will make things look darker and darker, but if you will know the truth as shown above and positively declare that condition a lie! and then will place yourself and all your affairs in the Father’s hands in a loving serene faith and trust in Him, nothing will be able to touch or harm you. The only blindness there was, was in your lack of understanding until you received these words of Truth.

LIFE has been one hard battle this last month. In the noonday Service I saw or sensed a river of clear sparkling water coming from above, forming a wonderful series of waterfalls. Lately the river flows at my feet, running more swiftly, but not so clear. Also there is someone lifting a bandage from my eyes. Kindly explain if possible, as the road is uneven at present.

Life itself seems a battle, when one allows one’s self to become involved in the forces of the human mind; but remember, the only battle is in our consciousness, through our allowing those forces, thoughts and emotions to come in and influence us.
