the end. That sun is the great Light and Love of God that will soon appear to all the world and will pour down into the minds of the people of earth with mighty intensity. Those whose love for God is founded on the Rock of perfect Faith and Trust in Him, and who take their stand thereon, will be sheltered and saved. All others who are not established on that Rock—when the Mighty Power of His Love is sent forth to His children as the burning Sun you were shown, driving out all darkness of selfishness from the world—will have to go with everything and everyone that are a part of that darkness, causing terrible tribulations and suffering, until there is nothing left of self and its creations to suffer; for it is self, and self alone, that suffers.

After the disappearance of selfishness and materiality, as you were shown, man will build in the new and purified consciousness that will then be his. Imagine for yourself what will be when every instinct and tendency of self is burned from the consciousness.

We are showing you in the Papers how to prepare and be ready to know and be guided by the Great Light when it comes, and we would that we could lead everyone to and establish them on that Rock of Faith, which alone will save them when the Great Son of God appears in the Heavens.

As I was meditating on the thought of the lesson, “Be still and know, I AM God,” I saw a vivid picture of the Red Sea and the Israelites passing through the bed of the Sea unharmed with the water rolling back on either side. Then the picture suddenly changed; in the center was a very bright light, and way deep within it a pure white light. On either side the wall of darkness was parting as the light became brighter and brighter.
