fit into their proper places in God’s Picture? And what could be a more simple way of preparing men to become childlike than by solving Jig Saw Puzzles?
No mental gymnastics, prolonged meditations upon scientific formulas or mathematical calculations are needed to fit the pieces into their proper places; the only requirements are the power of visualization, strong determination, infinite patience, and a deep desire to see the completed picture; along with a firm faith that will represent something beautiful and worthwhile. Are these not the qualities most needed when using the law of creation (by visualization), that law which will be principally used by the builders of the new order of things that will manifest during the next age? In the meantime, while solving puzzles, all thoughts of fear, worry, lack, greed, crime, hatred, war, and all the rest of their kind, are blotted from the mind, depriving these mental parasites of the power of expression.
Most men would not of their own accord set aside a regular period each day in which to put all negative and inharmonious thoughts in the background and think only of beautiful, happy and constructive things; therefore this opportunity of freeing themselves of thoughts they do not want to entertain fills an important mission. While solving cross-word puzzles, they are unconsciously lifted to the plane of creative thinking, where they remain until the puzzle is finished and they are again forced to descend into the outer world of turmoil.
“HEAR this, ye solvers of Jig Saw Puzzles! The time will come when ye will be supermen, infused and inspired by the holy power of God’s Love, helping to piece together the marvelous puzzle of the Universe, of which thy toy is but a symbol.
