The Inner Life
THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | AUGUST 1933
We might add that many earnest students of The Impersonal Life, who had become members of The Aquarian Foundation, after its dissolution feeling that the truths in the above Message, together with others already learned, could be used as a Spiritual foundation on which they could help build the Universal Brotherhood on earth, requested the Publisher of the books to continue with such students by all working together along wholly Impersonal lines.
To that end the monthly Papers, mentioned in The Impersonal Work article herein, were sent to such, the first number in December, 1928; and they have been issued regularly ever since, the list of those receiving them largely increasing during the past four and one-half years.
This has been truly encouraging, for only those who are making the finding of the Kingdom FIRST in their lives—and all know how comparatively few there are of such—stay until the goal is reached; as they are continually pointed to one Master only—the Christ within themselves—as their supreme Teacher and Leader and final Authority, and they are lovingly and surely aided to find Him. It is only the determined and undaunted ones who find Him and follow Him all the way.
Finally, we call your attention to the last words of the above Message, where is stated “The Message is everything, the personality of the Messenger is nothing.” Despite these plain words, many pinned their faith on the Messenger and forgot the great truth in the Message, so that when the Messenger failed, they assumed that the Message itself was not the truth.
But Truth is eternal, and when one bringing Its Message fails to live it, there are always others who will carry on Its work and bring Its Message to outer fulfillment.—THE EDITOR.
