The Inner Life

I hated a man.” She nodded. (This relates to an experience when I left my body consciousness four or five years ago and went through an incident in my previous life.)
She said, “Since your work was left undone that time, you came back to finish it in this life. You will stay in your present body a while longer now, but nevertheless your life will be short.”
“How will it be ended?” I asked. “Through an accident.” “Must I suffer?” “No, I will be there to care for you.” “Are others killed in this accident?” “No, just you.” “What kind of an accident?” “Through a Lincoln car.” Just then the thought came to me that I need not ride in a Lincoln car.

In other words, her love nature in that life was first awakened, making it possible for her Spiritual Self to descend into her Soul and from there to influence her life henceforth.
The fact that the Soul was not with her in the succeeding life or in the second one following it was probably in order to give the Soul’s outer expression, the human mind, opportunities of learning to obey the instructions and guidance previously received. But the Soul remains with her unknown to the outer self, which must go forward alone and learn to use the knowledge gained unaided by conscious inner guidance. The
