learned that Mind controls matter, but now she must learn that Soul controls Mind.
From our Impersonal consciousness we can now contemplate our human minds and look back over the path of their unfoldment. From their strong physical development brought about by strict orthodox training and discipline, we can see how the thinking minds among the masses—the real motive power bringing about their general growth—unfolded their consciousness in order to express through the “New Thought” movement, and then later through Mental Science, until they arrived at the limit of purely mental and intellectual power. They seem at present to have reached a standstill, a period in which the minds are relaxed, contented with their labors, and congratulating themselves on their accomplishments.
But from the Impersonal consciousness we know that this is not the limit of their growth. As far as it goes, we can say with Jehovah God, “It is good.” But we cannot stop there.
For are we yet fully conscious as souls? And do we know our places in the Great Plan? Have we as souls complete control over our minds? Have we given ourselves over fully to the Christ within for His use?
If you agree with us, then you will answer, “No, I can see that I have not yet found all. Even as in the past I grew and unfolded, so must I continue to grow and progress to the fullness of my nature—even to when the Christ within may come forth and be my REAL self.
If you believe that, then you are ready for the next teaching, the Science of the Soul. Even as there were pioneer teachers of the Mind sent to America to help in her unfoldment, great souls who introduced the Mind
