FROM all that has been shown it must have become evident that you as a human soul are not what you now deem yourself to be. You in your real being are not the personality—not this John Smith or Mary Doe that the world knows. For this life here in this body must be but one of many lives lived in many bodies that you assumed under as many different personalities down through the ages, in your efforts to redeem your human consciousness and to lift it up into full oneness with your soul consciousness, in order that you can finally have a vehicle that will be perfect for your and your Father’s use.

Then if you are not this John Smith or Mary Doe, who—what are you? You ask.

Think of what has been told you about the Soul. Above, and in previous chapters, it is stated that you are a human soul—that it is only the sum-total of consciousness that has evolved up through the four kingdoms of consciousness to the point when those who originally gave birth to this consciousness could take full charge of its final evolution on earth. And it was stated that those who are responsible for such creations are the Sons of God.

You who read are a human soul, and you therefore as a soul are the creation of a Son of God, Who is responsible for you—for all that you are and all that you are to be.
