THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | AUGUST 1933

mind will only realize it, the only things of value are what it gets from you—that which you thus tell it while it reads or hears, and which may be entirely different from the printed words read or the spoken words heard and the meaning intended by their writer or speaker.

The habit of thus constantly listening to you gradually brings the mind into a sure and natural acceptance of you as its Master and Teacher, and it no more assumes to be separate or tries to do anything without your direction, but it looks to you always for every needed thing.

And this is the goal that you are seeking to attain—the bringing of your mind into perfect obedience, and its consciousness into oneness with your consciousness.

In fact the human you has been led to the Kingdom, and now if you seek to make what has been shown you first in your heart and life, and you will follow faithfully and study devotedly, until you personally prove all that hereafter will be taught, you will be enabled to enter and abide in the Kingdom of your God Consciousness at will, for your mind will have won its way across the bridge of separateness and will have learned that it and You are truly ONE, and have always been ONE.
