The Inner Life
THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | FEBRUARY 1933
(2) that of the Soul, a conscious center of that Mind; and (3) that of the human mind, the outer extension or reflection of the Soul.
In other words the consciousness of Divine Mind, which includes all and is in all, is the innermost and expresses Itself outwardly first as the Soul, but in a lower rate of vibration and therefore necessarily limiting Itself; and then as the human mind in a much lower vibration and as a now greatly limited and imperfect extension of Itself—the outermost. But it is all the consciousness of the One Mind, and there is no difference or separation; that Mind is only expressing itself outwardly on different planes of being or in different rates of vibration.
Keep this in mind in all your consideration of what is being shown and it will make everything easier to comprehend; for we will be dealing solely with consciousness and with forms only incidentally, when they are used to outpicture the ideas or concepts held in consciousness.
The above is the second article and the first chapter of the treatise on “The Soul,” the Introduction of which appeared in the preceding issue under the title of “The Soul” and which will be printed serially in this Magazine.—The Editor
