The Inner Life
THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | DECEMBER 1938
THE WAY TO THE KINGDOM
By the Writer of
THE IMPERSONAL LIFE
THIS book contains Lessons I-XX of the Impersonal Papers, which were originally issued in 1928 to several hundred students of the IMPERSONAL LIFE, who desired definite instructions how to find the KINGDOM WITHIN.
These Papers are unique in that they give in very simple form, the way in which consciousness may be expanded beyond the mental plane. However, as stated in the Introduction, the Lessons require to be studied and absorbed carefully, one by one, the meaning of each paragraph being fully grasped before passing on to the next. In short, the book should be used as the text book of a science would be treated, viz; the teachings studied and practiced until mastered. Otherwise their true value may be missed.
Definite teachings are given how to find the Kingdom of God, with actual directions pointing the way inward in consciousness to that place within where the Kingdom is to be found. Concrete instructions are also given for self-training and discipline such as will enable any earnest and determined seeker to find it alone, unaided by any but his own Higher Self.
It was intended, at first, that the teachings be given privately to those who were deeply in earnest and who would faithfully study and follow the instructions they contained, but the demand for them to be furnished in permanent form has become so great that the SUN PUBLISHING COMPANY now releases this book to the public, in response to continued requests.
The teachings make a book of about 350 pages, printed in good style, and bound in silk cloth. Price $2.50 postpaid.
