Her experience indicates that Death acknowledges in her one who has power over him—but he challenges her to prove it. Her own Soul was used as a means of bringing to her a test of her spiritual understanding and strength, by putting the suggestion in her mind of a short life and death by accident.

Sometime ago she had another warning that came in a similar way. We wrote her that coming as it did, from the astral or etheric plane, it had no reality; that she should know this, and say positively, “It does not apply to me, for I am a Spiritual Being. So I will not accept it in my consciousness, or in my life.” Which suggestion she followed, and so of course nothing happened.

It is exactly the same in this instance. But should she accept it as belonging to her and believe that she will have a short life, will have to go by accident, she will thereby attract to her that “Lincoln car.”

On the other hand, if she will positively know that being Spirit and thereby far above the realm of accidents none of such things can come to her, and will rest confidently in that conviction, all accidents of every description and even death will pass her by—until she is willing to cut the thread of her life with those scissors.
