That seems to be so in your present limited understanding, but before we are finished you will see that you are far greater than your mind; that you do not think in your mind, but that your mind does the thinking, misinterpreting what you want it to think, but you allow it thus to think for the lessons it needs to learn; that you gave the mind expression solely for the purpose of accomplishing your will on earth, and when you have fully taught and disciplined it, it will have become your loving and obedient servant, which is its sole purpose of existence.

No one with his physical eyes has ever seen you in your real body or nature, for you in your real self are a glorious being, formed in the image and likeness of the Gods, like unto One we know as Jesus Christ.

There is no question about this, for one only who is very wise, loving and powerful could have done all that you did back through your present earth life; none other could have grown your mortal expression, put it through all its varied experiences and thus taught your mind all that it knows.

No, no one else taught it anything; your ears heard and your eyes saw, but your mind learned only what you from within pointed out to it and enabled it to grasp and remember. You have been doing all; you knew the end from the beginning, knew just what you intended to accomplish, and as fast as possible are developing and training your human mind and body so that they will be perfect instruments for your use.

YES, YOU have been teaching this great truth to your mind as fast as it was able to receive it. Back from the very beginning you have been talking to it, pointing out little by little what it could accept, and often compelling it to go through many similar trials and experiences in order to impress upon it some truth you wished it to learn.

But because you did not speak in definite words, but in Spirit’s way of impressing your thoughts upon the mind, the mind did not realize it was being taught, and grew so accustomed to the silent inner leadings you were giving it, that if they interfered with self’s wishes, it did not heed, and thus needed to go the way of inharmony and suffering and thereby be made to listen and learn that self’s way was not your way for it.
