I SHOULD like to comment upon an article in the September issue of THE INNER LIFE Magazine, on page 28, under the heading of “A Glimpse Into the Future,” by W. G. B.

Both my husband and myself were very much interested in this article; more so, perhaps, than the majority of the people will be who read it, as the same prophesy was given to me in the month of July, 1933. If I am not mistaken, we were on the ninth or tenth Lesson of The Way to the Kingdom.

On this particular night while in the Silence, we were visited by one of the higher Teachers or Masters. This was his first visit for quite some time. After instructing us in regards to our studies and making a few comments upon the teachings of The Sun Center, he talked about conditions as they existed at that time, time, and informed us what was coming in the future, and how the conditions would be met.

Like the majority of people at that time, our attention was centered on the new president. I asked Rajah (the name of the Teacher) if Mr. Roosevelt would live up to all that he agreed to do.

He said, “No! When Mr. Roosevelt took office, he fully intended to drive the money-changers out of the temple. But, like the others before him, he will listen too much to false prophets for any good to the people. Wall Street will be too strong for him to extricate himself, once he is caught in their well-laid traps.” (So far this has come to pass.)

I asked him if Roosevelt would be re-elected. He shook his head, and said, “He will have to be very careful, or he will be killed at the expiration of his present term.” He then went on to state that Mr. Roosevelt would be the last president of the United States, saying that in 1936 we would have a Theocratic form of Government.

(If this be true, it would have to be a man who is mentally and spiritually capable, as all candidates of our present parties are as yet unfit for this high duty.)

I said, “Is there no way out of the awful mess that the world is in today?”
