“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear My Voice and will open the door, I will come in and sup with him.” The Unseen Guest is always near the house of your mind. His influence in that house will depend upon whether you bid Him enter, and how welcome you make him; how willing you are to turn your house over to Him.

As you rise from your bed for the next month, as you go about your work, as you take a moment’s rest at midday, as you lie down to rest at night, let your thoughts run in this wise:

“I open my heart and mind fully to the Presence of God. I let Him come in and take possession of my thoughts, my work, my affairs, my life. With His constant companionship I shall dwell as in the house of a friend.

My thoughts are God’s thoughts, my life is God’s life. I am one with the Father, one with the Spirit of God. I know that my body is a temple of God, and that His Spirit dwelleth in me.

God, the Creator and Maker of all this Universe, with all the gifts which He so abundantly possesses, is now one with me. I will lift up my heart unto God, His arms are about me, His Love enfolds me, and I shall fear no evil in all the world. My thoughts are God’s thoughts, my understanding is God’s wisdom. I abide in Him, and He abides in me.”

For another thirty days keep pencil and paper close beside you and write down such thoughts and impressions as daily, nightly or hourly come to you.
