It is therefore intended to give the reader the best kinds of articles offered by other magazines, and in addition such features of universal interest about subjects they do not cover, that will make each number eagerly sought and read. A high ideal, you will say, but such we are setting for ourselves, and it will be for the reader to decide how near we make it come true.

What will be presented therefore will in no way interfere with any of the accepted truths of the different schools of thought: Psychology, New Thought, Christian Science, Spiritualism, Theosophy, Rosicrucianism, or any of the Christian Churches, or of any Church, for that matter; for we hope to throw a new light upon many of the truths of their teachings, making them stand out in clearer relief, so that the soul of each reader will respond to them, as well as will his intellect.

General subjects will be covered, but as the title of the magazine indicates, the Inner Life will enlist our chief study, but for the sole purpose of relating its truths to the outer life, so they can be put to practical use in all of life’s departments and activities.

Because we have long felt that no truth is of any real benefit when accepted merely intellectually, much effort will be made to impress certain vital truths about the Inner Life upon the reader, especially those needed these days to lift man out of the hard and unnecessary conditions manifesting in his outer life, and which when truly understood will make him free from them forever.
