Those who have been faithful in their striving, have not grown discouraged, and have been steadfast in their love and trust in God, knowing that He was watching over all, and realizing that these were tests given to develop the strength and understanding of soul needed for what they felt awaited, are the ones who will be raised to higher degrees this year. And let us hope that many of them will become Accepted Disciples and proven Workers in the Christ Cause.

This should be the case, for there are more than a few Impersonal students, not to speak of those in other Christ Movements, who have shown that they are being prepared for this great event. Let all such who read during the few days preceding Easter—if they have not already done so, and we feel that those who are candidates for this high honor intuitively recognize the deep significance of Easter this year—surrender everything to the Loving One within. Let them spend all time possible in prayer and meditation, going about their daily tasks in the consciousness of the One Christ, allowing Love to rule every moment of the day, concerned only that they are abiding in Christ and letting His Word abide in them and direct all that they do. This will truly prepare their minds for that which awaits and make it possible.

This means that the mind must not be allowed to think of or long for what may result; it must be a complete surrender of will and desire—a placing of everything in the Father’s hands, a knowing that whatever is, is best at this time. Above all things, do not anticipate or expect to be privileged with some inner experience that you can joy in and remember. The mind must be wholly serene and at peace, and abiding in a perfect love and trust—a waiting upon the Lord.

WE WOULD now speak a few words regarding those who are eligible to full membership in the Christ Brotherhood, those who are to be raised into the Christ Consciousness to abide there ever afterward.

This of course is the great attainment and awaits only the very few—the Elect of the race, and is consummated only at the final crucifixion of self. It means the indrawing of consciousness to that of the soul—already Christed by a Son of God, the Higher Self of the soul, having come forth and taken possession of soul
