outer, or in the inner where thoughts are things. One must dig deep beneath the surface to find it; and it takes effort, as well in the inner as in the outer, to find the precious things of life.

The only truly precious things, those that affect and influence the life, are found in ideas—in pure ideas, and the only way one can find pure ideas is to dig deep within the thought-forms men have built around such ideas. An example of this was shown in the article “Money, the Servant of Man,” in the May issue, wherein were indicated all the qualities, powers and evils with which men have invested the pure idea, “Money,” when it was originally given to man to serve and bless him.

Therefore, until one can learn to study one’s own mind, and can see clearly the thoughts in it that present themselves, see them for just what they are, and can learn to look through and past the thought-forms to the pure ideas they hide, one cannot find or know Truth. Truth is what we are trying to help all who are ready to find and know, those who are willing to make the proper effort and who will persist until they do find and know it.

In the June Editorial are several outstanding statements that we wish particularly to emphasize and amplify. The first is, “each one lives in an inner world of his own, and that world is the one he ‘sees’ within, and all things without are as he sees everything within.”

Everyone who studies his mind cannot help but accept this truth. No one sees anything without that is not what he thinks it to be within. The fact is, no one actually sees anything without; he sees only what is within his mind. Science has proven this. All one sees are vibrations made visible by the sun’s rays and emanating from invisible sources called ideas. What one “sees” and thereby thinks these vibrations to represent, so do they appear to him to be—but necessarily only in his mind. For when the light rays are withdrawn their vibrations are no longer “seen” by the physical eyes, because they no longer exist outwardly—the outer being only an illusion caused by the light; but they can still be seen in mind—where alone they exist.
