Let us examine this disease so that we can see it for exactly what it is.

What is so malignant a nature that it has eaten its way into the newspapers, magazines, books, schools, etc., of all nations? It is something subversive, hidden, dark, so covered up and subtle that up till recently scarcely one in a thousand was aware of it, and all others would not believe it when told of its existence.

It is the deliberate moulding of the minds of men into believing what a group of evil men, influenced by Satanic forces, want them to believe, certain sophistries and lies whose intent is to turn them away from all things now held sacred, such as worship of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ, the sanctity of the home and of marriage vows, the respect for law and the purity of the sex life, national and individual honesty and integrity, and all things of a religious nature.

These lies and sophistries—the poison that Communist and Socialistic teachings have inoculated into the minds of men through the various agencies above mentioned, and particularly into the minds of the young people in high schools, colleges, and universities, have been instilled therein so subtly and insidiously that comparatively few know what has been accomplished and the remainder “pooh pooh” the danger, so that it is like one under the influence of an opiate, whose intelligence cannot be reached and made to see the terrible end of it all, if not halted.
