teachings, afore mentioned believe that the system of capitalism, especially in the United States, is the cause of the present chaos, despite the fact that capitalism in this country under our form of government has made our people the most prosperous, the freest and happiest ever known in the history of the world.

They fail to see it is not the system, but the evil and selfishness of men that can cause any abuse of the principles of practice in a system. Consider what the abuse of the powers of dictatorship has caused in Europe, where not only millions of lives were ruthlessly taken, but the property and riches of those who opposed the dictators. Would the people of this country prefer conditions now existing under such a system to those existing under their present system?

Of course there are many evils in evidence in the abuse of the capitalistic system, but these evils are caused by men who have gained powers and privileges through graft, in the buying of legislators; through the control of newspapers and other means of news dissemination, thus fooling the people into believing what they wanted them to believe, in order to cover up their thefts of public money and privileges. We wish all to consider carefully into just what beliefs, taught you as sacred by your parents, this disease has eaten into the consciousness of many people—of course not into the consciousness of most truth students. But we ask you to make it your business to note from this time on, among your friends and acquaintances, how few are truly worshipping God, and what is their belief in Jesus Christ—if He is not to them but another teacher or Master and no more than other great teachers in history; how lightly they treat marriage vows and things of a sex nature; how few have any use for religion, and how most are concerned only about
