frees the mind of all error—from all the former beliefs of its “separate” consciousness, which was involved in and bound by such beliefs.

All who study these words carefully, who want freedom strongly enough to stay with them until all of their wondrous meaning becomes clear, and then try to prove their truth so that they know it for themselves—will soon find they are able to free themselves from any unwanted conditions.

Think what that means! Is it worth the trying and proving? All who will may do so.

WE HAVE said that we know that whatever happens will be good—good for the world and for every man in it. For we also know that the world is sick and that what happens will be the result of the medicine that will be administered by the Great Physician—Who is also the Judge—in order to make the world well.

What is this medicine? It is the corrective influence of the Law, administered to turn men’s minds back again to God—to normal, healthy, happy thoughts and living. Humanity cannot be healthy, prosperous and happy except when all men are working for the good of the whole. When selfishness and greed become so great that it affects the consciousness and therefore the life and happiness of the whole, it acts as a foul disease that poisons the blood-stream of the people and will finally destroy them, unless freed of that poison.

The only thing that will cleanse the blood-stream—the life and consciousness of humanity—of the poison of selfishness and greed, is to bring men’s minds back to God. So Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and Judge, has rendered His verdict and will prescribe the remedy; He will administer the Law upon mankind, until it will lose its power and direct its effects upon all who have been living and acting contrary to the good of the whole.

The Law, now that men are brought to trial and judgment, compels each individual to face himself, to see just what he is—his sins, weaknesses and shortcomings, as well as all his good qualities.

If the good predominates, then the Law, because of the power given it by the Judge, causes that good to express in the individual
