THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | SEPTEMBER 1933

EDITORIAL

KNOWING the uncertainty existing in the minds of many sincere seekers and students regarding the return of those who have passed the portal called Death, we are intending in this editorial to go quite deeply into the subject, to give interesting illustrations and to quote from certain authorities, in order to show clearly that there are definite laws which affect such passing and which cannot be violated without severe penalties being exacted.

A great deal of error is due to the misunderstanding of investigators of what constitutes the real man. The true student knows that what is walking around in the human body is not what the ordinary man thinks—is not merely the human self concerned chiefly with eating, drinking, clothes, a home, a family and having a good job or income; but is a soul, an intelligence, whose consciousness for the time being is centered in this human body and its life.
