This being the law of the universe, men must live in at-one-ment with the Father and DO THE SAME THINGS. They must love their neighbors as they love themselves, because the basic law of the universe is LOVE—not hatred, alienation, nor apartness.

Jesus taught another aspect of the atonement which ought to be recognized; “God is KIND to the unthankful and to the evil.” This being true, we are commanded to attain the same standard of perfection, by DOING the same thing.

Even when men practiced things which were not right, they were never separated from the Father. Jesus said to Pilate “Thou hast no power, except it be given thee from above.” Man may misuse the power God gives, but he is never living apart from Infinite Love; never need seek an atonement; never should feel lost nor forsaken; never should become discouraged nor think himself forgotten.

Jesus distinctly proved the paradox of the Atonement as taught by the Scriptures and Christendom. Man is always in contact with the Infinite.

“I am the vine, ye are the branches—without Me ye can do nothing.” We are always at-one with God, but we may not always realize it as true.

We must learn to take Jesus seriously.
