law of their world. For every world or kingdom in the invisible has its law, even as has the physical world.

These elemental beings being subhuman have not free will, and have only what may be termed elemental intelligence. For they cannot reason and have no will of their own; they have to be directed regarding all things whatsoever to their own lives, and in enter into and give effect to whatever intelligence is given out in the thought of the one directing them. Through definite laws of affinity they attach themselves to men as dogs attach themselves to and wait upon humans, and thereafter live only to please and obey their master’s will. Only the same as with dogs, few find a real master, one who recognizes, understands and appreciates their faithful and untiring service, and who shows them the love which, being the underlying law of life in all kingdoms, aids them most effectively in their particular evolution.

Now know that all kingdoms of consciousness outside that of pure Spirit are but the creations or beliefs of man’s mortal mind, come to life in the states of consciousness out of the degrees of intelligence through which man has evolved.

We have shown in previous articles how Spiritual man, as a Son of God, in his descent from his Spiritual Source, first conceived himself as outside of or apart from that Source, thus seeing himself as a separate being, and gradually building a tangible concept or thought-form of himself as such a being having a separate mind, and which mind in time became his mental body and which body is what is now called his mortal mind. And all other beings and things he saw in his new consciousness he conceived to have bodies of a similar mental nature to his own. Thus he built up in his mind what in time became his mental world or consciousness, peopling it continually with his thoughts and concepts of all things that came within the range of his mental vision.

Later in his interest in and consideration of all the things that claimed his attention in this new state of consciousness, there formed in his mind desires to study, investigate, understand and enjoy these denizens of this interesting new world, and in indulging these desires he gradually built up his emotional or astral body, as has been shown; later these slowly crystallizing first into a vital or etheric body, and then into a substantial or physical body.

But we must remember that all this took place in consciousness only, that these bodies and worlds are but man’s creations or his
