IT IS THE purpose of this magazine to inform its readers of all possible facts that will enable them to know and apply the laws of life, so that they can convert any inharmonious conditions in their minds, bodies and affairs into harmonious ones, and can thus align themselves with the One Life and the One Mind, in order that they can co-operate consciously with them.

Therefore when one of our workers suggested to us the opening of a new department of the magazine whose object would be to establish by case records and an analysis of them that all so-called physical diseases are but manifestations of inharmonious thought and beliefs, we at once saw the value of such, and agreed to furnish his the space, providing he would supply the cases and the analyses of them. This he agreed to do. He claimed he had plenty of helpful ones. The following are examples, and an indication of what we have in store:

It is well known that when one’s thinking and feeling are constructive and harmonious, the intelligence in the cells of the body function constructively and in harmony with the Divine Plan; but when one allows certain negative states of consciousness to prevail for a sufficient length of time to become convictions, then the intelligence in the cells adapts itself to the new beliefs and functions in accordance with these beliefs rather than with the original perfect plan.

As the response of the cells to the mind’s consciousness is influenced by feeling, therefore emotional states of consciousness filled with much feeling quickly affect cell activity. The negative application of this law produces disease. The constructive use of the same law is the cure.

Paul said, “Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” He also said, “Prove all things. Hold fast to that which is good.” To those who follow through with us we can prove that no so-called disease is ever cured except by the renewing of the mind or by changing the mental activity or consciousness.
