MY SACRIFICE
WRITTEN shortly before a very dear Brother working here in the outer, known and greatly loved by many Impersonal, Unity and Truth students, was called to her Spiritual home.
We print it because her dear ones who read it will be glad to share of it, for they know how very true is every word—and that she is now what she wanted to be and where she wanted to be. —The EDITOR.
MY MIND, my body, my self, my will, my desire—my all I give; that I may utterly die of it, and become a selfless and perfect instrument for Christ’s use.
I give up my every trait of character that is of the earth mind and nature—that only the Divine Mind and Christ’s Nature may henceforth live in me and do Its will and work through me, and I become a conscious participator in the heavenly life.
Oh my Father, may I have earned it!
Accept me, my Father, and let self henceforth exist only for Thee, and be used for the blessing of the world.
I just assume that I am a Son of God; that I have made the conscious attainment; that I am in the Kingdom, and a member of the Great Christ Brotherhood, and this is my true consciousness now and forevermore.
I am dead to self and alive to Self—the Christ Self. I have put on Christ. —Flora E. Hooten.
