consider them, however, as they will find out, if they do not fortify themselves by taking the White Path.

Man is a tiny germ floating on a sea of criss-crossing impulses, and if he allows his own protecting aura to be broken down, these forces will rush in from every direction and so confuse and waterlog him that he will lose all chance for higher understanding. Idleness and negativity are cardinal sins and the Devil of all religions will find work for hands that are not laboring for the White Masters.

THE ELEMENTALS so ably described by Mr. Hall in the above article, along with those we know as fear, worry, doubt, hate, jealousy, discouragement, self-pity, and others of their clan, are nothing but the filth of the astral and desire realms, or in other words, they are the refuse material of those realms that have not yet been segregated into their proper level of consciousness.

These elementals are the vitalized thought-forms of people. For instance, if a person thinks an evil thought, into which he pours anger or hatred, the latter feelings, which are actually part of that person’s life forces, provide rich vitality for elemental entities, inducing them to enter and ensoul such thought-forms, as it were, and thus giving them life and power.

Such elemental entities or forces, when once within these thought-forms, hover around their creators, ever seeking to get again into their mental atmosphere, in order to inspire them to more anger or hatred, which further
