THE WRITER of the above adds, “This is a sample of the way I would attempt to prove the connection between mental causes and physical manifestations. The case I have given is a truly remarkable demonstration of the outworking of a perfect law. The results came so rapidly that it almost astounded me. Yet I knew the law worked if applied correctly.

I have records of many cures that would be called miraculous, and in each case it can be easily seen that a change in mental attitude was the sole cause of the cure.”

He has just sent us a case of a boy given up to die of tuberculosis by physicians and one of whose lungs was practically gone, yet who was inspired with the belief he could be cured in the same manner as in the above case; and he later grew a new lung and became a fine football player and an all-around athlete. This case will be related in the October INNER LIFE.

We wish again to state the law—that what is now manifesting is the result of what has been believed and is now held in consciousness as being so. Therefore, all that is needed to change what is manifesting is to change the picture-belief held in consciousness. How to do this is most clearly stated and explained in The Way Out. All of these cases graphically illustrate and confirm its teachings.
