into “Psychic or Soul Realms” to require three evidences for a true contact.

(1) Impressionable Sensibility, i. e.: The proper receptive mood—entering into the great silence where Universal (Spiritual) impulses may be received and recognized. This is frequently spoken of as “Being in the Spirit.”

(2) Impersonal Presence: The act of recognition of foreign influxes and their differentiation. The “not our waking consciousness” speaking; “the still small voice,” which is usually recognized as discrete and apart from the thoughts of the outer mind. It may be from any source, from an inner teacher or friend, or from the higher or spiritual part of our own being, “The Father”; but each must be proved, classified and fully understood.

(3) The Proper Symbology: No trained traverser into psychic realms will hold communion without some sign or evidence of authenticity. He in whom universal sensibility is awakened will soon learn to demand and will receive a code that must be verified. These usually come over the central nervous system as involuntary sensory or motor reflexes. They are often very, very positive, and serve as indisputable evidence of proper contact.

He who is not capable of attaining these expressions of proof had better give his statements of higher understanding and contact tentatively, or perhaps much better, not at all.
