REMARKABLE CHILDREN

THERE are many remarkable children in the world today, those who naturally are to be the leaders of the coming generation, but more especially those who will usher in and be the leaders of the New Age.

Most of these children are in families whose parents do not understand them and seemingly hinder rather than encourage and help the development of their unusual souls. We know that that they do not hinder, however, for such souls in their greater understanding and unfoldment probably chose the families and conditions into which they incarnated, often choosing the ones providing the greatest handicaps as affording the best opportunities for developing the strength of character and powers of mind needed for the work they came here to do.

But this was not the case with all, for due to the special work they were preparing for, it was often necessary to have parents who would understand them and would allow their souls the freedom they needed, and who would wisely concur and encourage when recognizing the child was not speaking from the outer, but from the inner self.

In these articles we will talk about both conditions, in an endeavor to help parents better to understand such children and how wisely to work with them and bring out all of their latent powers and possibilities. We know what a serious problem it seems to most of such parents, but there are certain fundamental principles which, once thoroughly comprehended, will when applied enable them to deal wisely and lovingly with these dear souls and aid them to unfold their true selves, even as lovely flowers unfold and give forth of their fragrance and beauty. We will try to make clear these principles so that to our readers there need no longer be any problem, but all may know the one sure way and may profit by it.

First we will tell of a few children whose parents understand them for what they are—advanced souls, who appreciate their responsibility of wisely guiding them, and who welcome any helpful suggestions. We tell of these first as they may be an inspiration to other parents to show them what may be latent in their own children, if they will but take the pains to win their con-
