The Inner Life

have ever looked upon. There standing close to me was the perfect figure of Jesus Christ. A face with eyes of wondrous beauty, yet I connot tell you the colour of those eyes, stern, yet filled with love and gentleness, as they looked at me.
Gently raising His hand He pointed in the direction of the woman. Though no word was spoken, all fear left me, and I rose from the bank with my face soiled with tears that had flowed abundantly down my cheeks, and walked back toward the place I had seen the woman.
There was no fear of any kind left at all, it was as if I were not doing it, it was just being done. Yes, there was the woman, and I felt no repugnance as I looked at her, for she had fallen to the ground.
I touched her and gently as I could turned her over on her side. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I took off my coat and wrapped it around her. As I laid her back on the bank she gave one little smile, sank back, and I heard her say, “Yes, Jesus, I am coming.” And then she died.

STATION GOD
By M. F.
A SHORT time ago I was meditating on the Lord’s Prayer. I had retired, when suddenly I appeared to be in front of a radio and I tuned in to station G O D. Immediately a voice was heard, “This is station G O D announcing that God Gives Us Our Desires. Also that if God gives us our desires, and I at this moment more than anything else desire to send a message out into the world that will help all people, the message will come through and reach them.” Then a voice that I had never heard before said,
“THE LORD’S PROMISE
“Our Divine Intelligence, which art in our minds,
Perfection is thy name.
Thy will is being done in our lives, even as it is in our minds.
Give us this day our daily thoughts;
And lead us away from temptation;
But deliver us from wrong thinking;
For Thine is the thought, the power, and the glory, forever.”
