The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | JUNE 1935

It is intended that these classes, and the lectures that will be given, be in the nature of a Teachers’ Training Course, hoping that all who come are seeking to prepare themselves for active service in the Work. The need of sincere, earnest, trained Teachers, who are anxious to gain the Kingdom, who are no longer seeking anything for self, and are desirous of serving consciously under the direction of the Master, is far greater now than ever before. We trust many such good souls will arrange to take up these Summer Classes.

There are several nearby good hotels, where rooms with running water can be secured at from $1.00 per day up, or less by the week, and rooms with bath at $1.50 per day up, or less by the week.

If those who intend to come will advise dates of arrival as soon as possible, it will help us plan the classes. It would be well to arrange to come only July 1st, July 15th, July 29th, or August 12th, on which dates new classes will start, as we will try to work out a two weeks intensive Course for those who can stay no longer, although all are welcome to come and stay as long as they can.

SUFFICIENCY

WHAT tho’ my purse be empty quite,
My cupboards clean and bare;
What tho’ my coat be thin and worn,
Shabby the gown I wear?

In Him I live; He lives in me!
There’s naught but God, and so—
Nothing can touch me but His Love.
Be still, my heart, and KNOW.
