The Inner Life
THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | JULY 1933
The one reciting the above experience is an old soul, bringing with her much knowledge of these inner planes and undoubtedly uncovering this knowledge to her mind, through such dream experiences, as fast as it is able to understand and use it.
She was teaching the mind how to free its consciousness from the body, and then later some of the laws of the psychic realm—that what is strongly desired there can always be accomplished or possessed. There was even shown the process of going from the third into the fourth dimension, and back again.
But why think you this was shown? Do you realize that the same laws and the same process applies in the outer as in the inner realms?—“As above, so below.” Which means they can be utilized by anyone who possesses the requisite knowledge and will-power.
And do you realize that some day you who read, perhaps, will be using these laws and doing what was described—passing through solid walls?
As for the statement “Love your enemies” giving the power to float through solid walls—what does that mean?
It can only mean that when truly loving your enemies—which means loving all men, you become one with them and with all things—one in consciousness; and as men and things are but concepts in your consciousness, and your consciousness is a part of the All consciousness, by becoming one with the consciousness of all things, you are then unhindered by any separate concepts of them, for they then do not exist as separate things. Let those hear, who have ears to hear.
